Rally for Democratic Objectives
Noon Saturday, January 21
Outside the Augusta County Courthouse
Let’s show that we see an alternative vision for America
Staunton, Augusta, Waynesboro Dems, please come out for this.
If you like, come with a placard or sign for the Democratic issue or objective most important to you, such as the Affordable Care Act, Women’s Rights, Climate Change or other environmental issue; Black Lives Matter, and so on. (This is not a complete list, we’re not making an effort to cover all important issues; our primary objective is a good turnout.)
This is NOT an anti-Trump rally, this is a Pro-Democrat rally; we want to send positive messages.
We plan to disperse at 12:30 pm so please arrive a little before noon. There are two parking garages and the Wharf parking area off of Johnson Street.
Our Election Night Social and Rally will be upstairs at the Mill Street Grill beginning at 7:00. There will be large screen TVs to watch the election returns as well as snacks and a cash bar.
