We will have our joint meeting with the Augusta County Democratic Committee on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 1900 in the Staunton City Council Chambers, Staunton City Hall. Please come in through the police department entrance on Central Ave. and take the elevator UP one floor.
After our joint meeting, we will conduct our separate committee meetings.
At its September 8, 2015, meeting, the Staunton Democratic Committee passed the following resolution:
Be it resolved—
The Staunton Democratic Committee expresses its shock and sorrow over the murder of nine members of the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, during a bible study class on the evening of June 17, 2015.
The Staunton Democratic Committee expresses its support for Emanuel AME Church and urges that immediate steps be taken to reduce racial hatred and gun violence.

We will have our monthly joint meeting with the Augusta County Democratic Committee Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at 1900 (I believe that’s 7 p.m., but I operate on a 24-hour clock). After the joint meeting, both committees will have separate meetings.
The meeting will be held in the City Council chambers in Staunton City Hall. Please enter through the police department entrance on Central Ave. and take the elevator UP one floor.
Before the meeting, several of us will meet for a happy hour at the Clock Tower restaurant, diagonally across the street from City Hall in Staunton. If you wish to join us there, come around 1800 (6 p.m.?).
